Using Pre-Built Bootstrap Themes Not Built for OJS

I am trying to create a new theme for OJS 3.4.0-8 using some pre-built Bootstrap themes available online (for e.g., the free ones available at https://bootstrapmade.com/. Two questions:

  1. Is that something you, and others who may have done it, would recommend I do? Currently, I am just thinking of doing this for one page: a custom Home Page.
  2. Ver. 5 of Bootstrap has moved away from LESS files. So has Bootstrap 4. Is using these files mandatory or can I use the CSS files that ver. 4 & 5 include?
