Public Access to the Publisher Library

Hi! Our users often need some additional documents (requirements, agreements) to be available either for registered users only, or for anyone. So they use the Publisher Library extensively, but when they try to publish links to some documents for public access, they usually do not realize, those are still accessible to registered users only (cannot be opened by any ‘external’ users).

As it has been already discussed here, providing direct URLs to PDFs would not be secure:

Hi there, I noticed documents which were uploaded in the Press Library (OMP) or the Publisher Library (OJS 3.0) can be seen if you know the url, therefor they aren’t protected (unlike the Files Browser in the older OJS-versions). Is this intentional (a feature) or a bug? Will this change in the future or can we use it to provide users with author guidelines (für example)? Kind regards Daniela

So the question is if it would be possible to give open access to some documents from the Publishers library?
