PKP Favicon: How to change it on the OJS start page (multiple journal installation)?

Hi, we’re using a multiple journal OJS installation (2.4.8.0) and I know that I can assign different favicons for every single journal. However, on the start page showing all listed journals, the favicon remains “PKP”. Is it possible to change this too, e. g., to “OJS”?

Hi @Sleipnir,

If you want to change the base favicon, replace the favicon.ico file in your installation’s base directory.

I replace the favicon.ico file with my own logo but it doesn’t work (on start page), no problem for journal page. Thank you

Hi @jimmymoedjahedy,

Have you checked the source of the page where you’re not seeing the favicon shown properly, to see if it references the file you replaced? This may be a browser cache issue – also try another browser, or flush your browser’s cache and reload.

I tried by renaming a png - did not work. Then I realised that I have to make favicon.ico in .ico format!
