we noticed that in the “Homepage URL” field in the User Details section inside the Contributor info backoffice, if you put for example the institutional profile URL of the contributor, it won’t be shown on the article landing page. It works only for ORCIDs.
Is this a problem on our side?

Yes - I believe this to be by design in OJS. Typically, only select few items from the profile are shown on the article landing page The Home page URL is not shown, but often the name, affiliation, and ORCID ID, Author Bios (if present). But, so far as I know, Institution URL is not one that is shown on the article landing page - I believe you’d have to customize the theme in order to display that, and, of course, it would be contingent on the URL being present in the author profile.

thank you. Maybe it’s a bit misleading the “Homepage URL” description, if this field is used only for ORCIDs; but maybe it has been deleted in the successive OJS versions
