Emailing discussion footer

Greetings humans :wink:
We’ve been working pleasantly with OJS and do run into to the occasional academic that doesn’t know how to read. In OJS there is a footer that you can set in emails. However, I noticed this isn’t the case when one of the staff starts a discussion with an author, or if we decline. Is there a way to include a footer or do we need to edit all the templates :wink:

Have you checked the Workflow → Emails → Signature ? Might that meet your needs? Note that this is from version 3.3.0-19 - you might be using a different version.

Yea I did and that does the trick for system emails, but not Editorial decisions or Discussions started by e.g. an editor.

Thanks for clarifying. Hmmm… I’m not really sure in this case. it might be that you need to edit all the templates, but hopefully someone who has more familiarity may be able to comment.
