Where to register journals?

We’re trying to work out where we should be registering our journals for maximum findability. So far we have:

https://doaj.org/ (if the journals meet the critieria, most of ours don’t)
https://www.base-search.net/
https://unpaywall.org/ (you need to register to get Open Access info in their database; they also harvest DOI metadata from crossref)
https://scholar.google.com/ (you don’t register, they just find you)
https://portal.issn.org/ (make sure the details are up to date)

Are there any other sites we can can/should register?

cheers

There is quite lengthy PKP documentation about this topic: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/getting-found-staying-found/en/

This is definitely the place to look, but appears to be missing some places.

How does this get edited? Is there git repo I can send pull requests to?

Hi @stuart.yeates,

Yes! There are edit and suggest links at the bottom of each page in that document.

Thanks,
