I want to add links to additional content from outside of the OJS (presentation slides, big data in another repository, …) to an article page. I do not want this to go into the abstract, since the links might not always be available or might appear much later than the article is published. I do not want this deposited when registering a DOI or when the abstract is harvested from services like Scopus and the like.
Where would I put these links in OJS 3.1?
Under the submission’s Layout area, you should see the text “Create remote…” permitting you to create a remote galley. Use that to specify a URL to the remote content galley.

thanks for the quick reply. I found the place to enter a remote galley. However, it is not displayed on the article page. There are only links to the OJS internal galleys (the full text pdf and also supplemental files) Anything else I need to switch on?
I made a quick search about it what you reported. We are working on a solution but a community user developed a workaround to show remote galleys in OJS3.1 that are not displayed on article page.

Hi @israel.cefrin,
I will track the Github Issue and hope it gets resolved in the near future. I would rather refrain from using this workaround since I am not tech savvy enough to change database stuff.
