What file formats can I upload as supplementary files to OJS? Is there even a limitation?

There is no limitation; you can use supplementary files with any file format you wish.

Is it possible to limit supplementary file format to, for example, zip files?

We would like our authors to pack all files they submit in one zip file, as an additional file to submission file which should be in pdf or doc format.

Hi @ania,

You would need to modify OJS in order to do that. This would require primarily skills in PHP.
