Hi Alec,
I currently took over managing a few journals at our institution. The Journals where defaced about 6 months ago. I moved the folders so that its not accessible for hackers.
Now I see that one of the journals have weird characters at the end of url. How can I remove this?
Warm regards,
Ricardo
We’ll need a better idea of what you are seeing to help you fix this. Can you provide a link or screenshot?
The hash or sharp sign (#) indicates a reference to a anchor within the page. This is keyed to an HTML id or to an <a>
tag’s name
attribute. It is ineffective if there is no matching id or anchor tag, so this is probably harmless at this point.
Where did you find the link?
