Webpage is not working

When I try to enter to the journal webpage I have the following error “DB Error: Table ‘./ojs/sessions’ is marked as crashed and should be repaired”. Also, before this problem, the webpage can’t send emails to authors, reviewers and editors. It seems that the emails generated by the webpage are delivered, but they never arrive.

to repair this table

  1. if you use phpmyadmin, go to your ojs database
  2. find sessions table in the table list
  3. check sessions table box
  4. than choose Repair Table

Thank you for your help, but I don’t use “phpmyadmin”. Is it the only way to repair the page? If it is the case, where I can find the link to install it and how I “associate” it with my journal webpage?

You are definitely using a database but which one?
MYSQL most likely. So the above method will solve your problem.

You can get support from the hosting company on how to access the phpmyadmin area.
