We are on 3.1.1.4. I want new accounts to go through email validation. I set require_validation = On in config.inc.php. Went through registration. Received an “Validate Your Account” email in Hotmail.
“You have created an account with our journal, but before you can start using it, you need to validate your email account. To do this, simply follow the link below.
http://myjournal.edu/index.php/journal/user/activateUser/testuser/6QW24qku”
I click on the link, the regular OJS login screen opens. I enter my new username and password and get this message:
“Your account has been disabled for the following reason: We’ve sent a confirmation email to you at myemail@hotmail.com. Please follow the instructions in that email to activate your new account. If you do not see an email, please check to see if it was put in your spam folder.”
What do I need to do to correct this?
