Using OJS for management only

Hi all,
I wonder whether it is possible (and makes sense) using OJS for journal management only (i.e. not using the publishing platform but the back-office only).

To provide some bacjground, we are working to launch a journal (about spatial planning in Portuguese speaking contexts) that will be hosted on a OA platform (inPlanning, by AESOP) and we are seeking for a system for the journal management only.

Hi Simone,

There are many journals that use OJS only as a submission and review system, and not to publish the finished materials. So if that is what you mean you could certainly do that. There is a setting in the set-up where you can specify that OJS will not be used to publish.
