Using a variable other than {$authorName} in the EDITOR_DECISION_REVISIONS email template

How can I use a variable other than {$authorName} in the EDITOR_DECISION_REVISIONs email template for OJS 3.3.0.14

The list of authors is displayed in the {$author Name} variable, whereas we want to use the first author’s name in the mail.

Hi @Valeria_Brancolini, This might be tricky to do currently in OJS 3.2 (and likely 3.3 too). However, dealing with custom email variables is going to get a lot easier in 3.4 (which is scheduled for release next month and is currently undergoing testing). If you can hold off, and are able to upgrade to 3.4 when it is released, it may save you some trouble. -Roger PKP Team
