Upgrade for 2.4.* to 3.x

Good Day,

We only use OJS to deliver/display our journal, is there anything special we need to be aware of before we upgrade?

Details: We use the quick submit plugin to upload articles as PDFs along with citations/refs, etc. Then an issue is created and the articles are added to that issue. A TOC is built and when done the issue is published.

Upgrading from OJS 2.4.8.5 to what seems to be the latest OJS 3.3.0.8

Thank you!

Yes, thanks Roger.

BUT, we are probably much different from most OJS users in that we inject completed articles downstream and not through the full process. I did not see anything specific in the documentation to that end.

Cheers! radjr

No problem. The article upload method you use (quick submit plugin) will partially facilitate the updating process.
I have updated similar journals.
You need to pay attention to is the update order.
