Trouble Connecting Gmail to the OJS Website

There is a problem when it comes to connecting our email to the journal website. This results to not being able to send email to reviewers and authors whenever there is an update. So, my problem is I cannot connect our official Gmail account to our website.

Please help us configure this.

Hi @hitikjournal

What version of OJS are you using (e.g. 3.3.0-10)?

I am using 3.3.0.18,

I did so many things based on what is said in thia forum yet not working.

Hi there @hitikjournal !
I’m not sure what are the things you have tried so far. Have you already undergone the process of enabling 2-factor verification and generating the 'Application password" for your GMail account?

Maybe if you share the [email] section of your config.inc.php file (blurring sensitive data) someone can spot what’s wrong.

Best regards
