Tracking RSS Feed Statistics - OJS 3.1.2

Description of issue or problem I’m having:
Not necessarily an issue, just wondering if it’s possible to track RSS Feed Statistics in OJS 3.1.2.

Steps I took leading up to the issue:
This is a request from one of our journal editors for a grant application.

What I tried to resolve the issue:
Looked at two similar forum posts, one indicating that RSS Feed doesn’t require registration, and another suggesting reviewing the web server’s log files for the RSS URL and looking at the number of unique IP addresses requesting it.

Hi @alisdairmacrae,

OJS doesn’t track usage statistics on RSS feeds. I think analyzing the Apache log file and watching for the RSS URL, as you’re already considering, would be the best way to do this.
