I’m using version 3.1.2.4 and as a section editor I receive notifications on email but there is no new ‘task’ notification when some authors upload a new revised file or when some reviewers complete the reviewing; so there is basically no way for an editor to know if a file has been uploaded without manually checking the history on a submission.
Note that the above issues were available in the older versions.
