Hello.
I have recently been added as a admin through my work at the University of Illinois and I am very new to OJS. I have a person who is wanting to switch from a reviewer to an author but that is not one of the options for them on their user home. Do they need to create a whole new user for the author portion or is there a way to switch them from a reviewer to a author?

Hi @Aaron,
Although I don’t see any real need for this, but it is very easy to change the role of an user. I guess you are using OJS 3.x. Go to Users-Users and find the user. Then click small triangle at the users name and select Edit. Scroll down a little bit and find users roles. Deselect reviewer role and select author role.

A user can have both roles. For them to become an author, they simply have to begin a submission.
