I was wandering if it is possible to display total submitted abstract count (excluding the archived ones) for a current conference in a custom sidebar block?
What code should I use to display such info?
It would be also be helpful to count the countries the authors are from but I guess this is a bit trickier.
My goal is to have a sidebar bubble that would say:
Up to this date we have received xxx abstracts from xxx countries for {current conference} .
