Submit previous volumes/issues from other platform

Dear developers, PKP community users, friends.

I have a big noob question. I’m using OjS v3.0.2.0 and I want to know the easiest way to submit previous volumes/issues from another cms platform (modified wp). I have at least 20 volumes with several issues, and are already reviewed, published (proofs accepted, final .pdf) and so on.

What do you recommend? The quick submit plugin is the easiest/recommended way?

Hi @Tzontonel

Given you have all editorial workflow already done to those past issues, it is recommended use quick submit plugin to submit them to OJS.

This plugin will enable you to upload final PDF in respective issues without having to pass through the whole submission process.

If you have your data already in a structured database of some kind, the XML import/export tools might be helpful – though there will be some effort required in converting to the right XML dialect.
