I am using version 3.1.1.4 and after this update whenever I go to submit an article it doesnt load the contents
prior to update it was working fine.

Have you tried clearing the Template Cache under the Administration menu?
Check your browser’s “Web Inspector” tool for any messages in the “Console” or statuses other than “200” in the “Network” tab.
