Some problems with OJS 3,4

I decided to install a new OJS for our e-magazine. It´s look nice and with some new things that I can´t use in the very old OJS 2,4. But I have this problems:

1. When I was loading many articles, with 5 sections that I created the first day, it could´t create any new sections. I have always the same error:

“Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned”

2. I installed a new module for ARK persistent identifiers that I downloaded from https://github.com/yasielpv/pkp-ark-pubid. When I activate the module, I recived the same error “Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned”. Perhaps the module is not for OJS 3,4 but I have the same error with new sections.

3. The OJS 3,4 have a very low performance. I need more time to see an article on screen, or to upload a new article. It´s very strange because a I have an OMP 3 and it´s very fast. I have 5 o 6 more instalation of CMS software (everything with PHP 7,4). I have only the OJS 3,4 in a folder with PHP 8,0. Everything is so fast but not OJS 3,4

Hi @Webrodleir,

When you see a Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned error message, check your PHP error log for details.

The performance of OJS 3.4 should be similar to the performance of 3.3. Is there a difference in your server configuration between the two platforms? For example, is your 3.4 database server on a different host than the web server? Are there particular areas of the system that perform poorly, or is it everything?
