Hello everybody!
Our team is running an open journal paper on OJS 3.3.0.5, and we are wondering if it is possible to restrict access to certain content so that only a certain role (such as Copy Editor) can view it. Is there a plugin for that or built in functionality hidden somewhere?

Unfortunately, the frontend of OJS is either open or closed to users not registered. You can only set access restriction to granted users, but you can’t set levels of restriction among these users.
The public interface of OJS can manage user access based on whether some visitor is logged in, but it can do it under a role-based rule.
