We usually have to reorganize (reconstruct etc…) the authors’ blind manuscript files before sending to reviewers because of many reasons. So, the original blind manuscript and the review version usually include several structural differences. After first round of review, except for some, most reviewers fill the review forms without reviewer files.
While recording the editorial decision (as Revision Required), we can’t find an easy way to share the blind review file (that was sent to reviwers) with the author. Since we can’t, the author usually makes changes on the originally uploaded (uncorrected) file.
How can we share the review file with authors during editorial decision? Screenshot is attached.
