Dear,
can a reviewer check his reviews of previous rounds of the submission in OJS3+ version?

Hi @wesin,

A reviewer should be able to log in and view their completed reviews. Are you finding they can’t when a second round of review is initiated?

is it possible for a reviewer to see his/her own reviews from round 1 when he is reviewing the article in round 2 of review?

Hi @alirezaaa,

The reviewer should be able to access their reviews. You can test this by using the “login as” feature.

  1. Go to Users & Roles > Users.
  2. Find the reviewer you want to log in as.
  3. Click the arrow next to the reviewer’s name to display links below.
  4. Click Login As.

You will now see what the reviewer sees when they log in to the site. You can go to the submission and see if you can access the completed reviews. But remember if you take any actions while logged in as the reviewer they will be recorded.

When you are finished you can hover over the username in the top right of the site and click Log out as. Then you will be logged in as yourself again.

Hi @astevens,
I logged in as the reviewer but I did not have access to comments and decisions on previous rounds of review from the same reviewer. So, the reviewer has no idea what he wrote on previous rounds. the only track may be in the uploaded revision file, but this comments are deleted or edited.
Could you verify that?
we are using OJS 3.1.1.2

Hi @alirezaaa,

I checked this again and you’re right, it looks like the reviewer only has access to the review they just completed. So after doing a review for 2 rounds, the reviewer can only see the second round review. And when they begin the second round review they can’t see the first round. The first time I checked this I was using an Editor’s account, so they were able to see the reviews from both rounds. You could file this as a feature request in the PKP GitHub repository if you would like to see it changed.
