We would like a feature where we can search for reviewers with multiple reviewing interests. Right now, you can only search one interest at a time when adding reviewers to a submission. We’d like the ability to type INTEREST + INTEREST.

Something like this is available in recent versions. When searching for reviewers, the words are split and matches are performed in a boolean fashion. So a reviewer with two interests:
A search for particle astro would return this reviewer but not a reviewer who had only one of the interests.
I can’t remember if the new reviewer selection list is available in 3.1.2.4. But if not, it should be there by 3.2.
