Reviewer tracking

We recently commenced hosting our electronic law journal on the OJS platform -
see
http://journals.assaf.org.za/index.php/per.

One thing
concerns us and I have not been able to find an answer. How can we keep
track
of how many times we request a review from a reviewer. We are 6
edition
editors and it might happen that we ask a reviewer more than once in
a year to
review. We want to limit it to a maximum of one a year but we do
not know how.

Do you have any ideas?
Thanks

Hi @pvrcr,

That specific metric is not reported by OJS, though you can extract it from the database using SQL fairly quickly. If you’re handy with SQL, look at the review_assignments table; the date_assigned column indicates the last assignment date, and the reviewer_id is the user ID of the assigned reviewer.

Thank you Alec, I will give it a try!
