Review Workflow Error

Hi
In OJS 3.0.2, when ‘Sending to Review’, submission automatically skips Round 1, and heads to Round 2 of reviews. This results in the editor/relevant individuals receiving a notification that reviews are complete when they haven’t even begun.

Hi @Rosarie_Coughlan,

Is this for a submission that started in an earlier version of OJS, or a fresh submission? What was the version you started with, if it was an upgrade?

I believe it was a new submission started in OJS 3.0.2

Hi @Rosarie_Coughlan,

It it possible that this submission was sent to review twice? IIRC each time a submission is sent to review, a new round begins.

Can you verify for sure whether this was an OJS 2.x submission that was then migrated to OJS 3.x? If that’s the case, this issue would explain it: [OJS] Migrated submissions have a review round even when the submission is in stage 1 · Issue #2247 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub
