"Return to hit list/overview" button feasible?

Hi,

if you have searched or filtered submissions and a hit list is displayed you sometimes want to look in serveral items of the list to find the right record. Now if you switched to one record and than want to go back to the list of hits, there is no navigation for this. The browser back button takes you to your dashboard and you have to renew your search every time.
We are using OJS 3.1.1_2

I had exactly the same request from an editor today, and I’ve found this feature annoying myself. Is there any chance it may be changed in future?

We’ve definitely had requests to be able to save filtered views or come back to them. There’s definitely a chance of this in the future but not, right at this moment, a plan to implement it in an upcoming version.
