The user admin of our system is sick for a while now. We don’t have the admin password. How can I reset the administrator password as a developer and admin of the severs. Is there any tool for it?

For this, you will need access to the database. Please see p. 39 in the PDF cited by @asmecher in this post https://forum.pkp.sfu.ca/t/cant-login-after-losing-config-file/33225 . To these detailed instructions I can only add that there’s a high chance that the site administrator has user_id = 1.
This should work in all OJS versions.
