Request for Assistance – OJS 3.4.0.6 Issues with Publishing, ORCID, and Multilingual Titles

Dear OJS Support Team,

I am experiencing multiple issues with OJS 3.4.0.6 and would appreciate your assistance in resolving them:

  1. Issue Publishing with QuickSubmit: When I upload an issue using QuickSubmit and attempt to publish it, the system keeps loading indefinitely. Upon refreshing, the issue gets published, but only the last uploaded article appears as published. The other articles are archived within the issue, requiring me to manually publish each one from the archive.

  2. Publication Date Not Saved: Even when I enter the publication date in QuickSubmit, it does not get saved. I have to re-enter the date manually for each article through the archive.

  3. ORCID Entry Issue: I am unable to manually enter ORCID IDs in the contributor field. The system only allows saving if the ORCID field is left empty.

  4. Multilingual Titles Not Saved: When adding article titles in multiple languages through the menu, the system does not save the entries.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve these issues?

Hi @Younes_SAAID,

Thank you for your post. However, can you please edit and create separate post for each of the issues you are experiencing (unless you have determined that they are inter-related)? In each post, please also. note your OJS version number. This will help keep the forum more tidy and help the community address each issue individually, serving as a knowledge base for users when addressing these issues in the future.
