I had a crash and need to re-upload author submissions. However, I want the articles to be linked to the author rather than me as the journal manager. Is it possible for me to do that as JM or do I need to have my authors resubmit their articles in order to have OJS link it to them?

Which version of OJS are you using? In OJS 3, when you are logged in as Journal Manager, you can look up the author’s user account and then click “Login as.” Any actions you do next will be attributed to that user. After you have loaded the submission you can log out as that user by clicking the link on the top right of the page, then go on to the next submission.
