Quick Submit plugin and manual DOIs

Dear,

In case of having manual DOIs (that is an editor individually enters a DOI for each article) in current implementation of the Quick Submit plugin there are actually two steps required:

  1. submit the article using Quick Submit plugin
  2. opening the article and update metadata (to enter the DOI)

I would like to ask to add a possibility to enter the DOI directly in the Quick Submit plugin.

You can not believe how many editors (journals) prefer to manually control and enter the DOIs…
