On OJS 2.4.8.1 where is the overall email control for emails that are sent out to readers?
We added 10 years of archives and it seems that OJS has sent emails to everyone who requested to be notified by email for each issue that was published. All 60 issues!
Unfortunately, we have several hundred accounts who where either false signups or people who’s email addrress has expired. We are getting thousands of replies from the server like this one.
Question:
- How do we kill these emails before they try to be sent again? (Update, the return reply failure notices need to be killed in the sendmail queues. (In this case via plesk))
- What settings control how email is sent and when in notifications?
- How do we turn off failure notification?
