Hello,
I was helping a client that has OJS installed, but all the links from the OJS are indexed in Google with japanese characteres on the meta-description tag.
Live example: site:Revista Eletrônica Estudos Hegelianos
Anyone can guide me where the documentation of the OJS about meta-description of each publication?
Thanks
Hi @Dennis_Altermann,
Can you post a screenshot of the problem, and ideally a link? I tried searching Google and Google Scholar for problem content but didn’t see anything immediately.

Hi @Dennis_Altermann,
I suspect there is some malware on that site. You might not be able to see it for yourself because malware that targets search engines might present different content to you vs. to Google. I would suggest using a tool like diff
to thoroughly review the differences between your installation and the .tar.gz
source; also make sure that the installation follows the practices recommended in docs/README
, in particular regarding the files directory (which should not be web-accessible).

Great, thanks. I will take a look and check it.
