Prevent customized prepared emails to be automatically added to the "Choose a predefined message..."select list

Hi,

In a multi-journal installation, when we customize email templates to fit the requirements of the individual journals, theses customized templates seem to be automatically added to the select list of predefined messages, which is presented to users who - for example - want to send an review request. Thus, the list of predefined messages grows just by customizing standard templates for a journal.

Is there any way to prevent this behavior? We just want to customize/edit templates without adding them automatically to the select list. (We cannot do this in the default templates table of OJS because we are at a multi-journal installation and need different customizations for differen journals.)

Hi @aguen,

The template selection process will get reworked as part of this project – but it’ll be a while in coming, as it’s roughly scheduled for 3.4 or 3.5.
