Hello,
I have just noticed that journal articles migrated or added via the QuickSubmit plugin are showing [Preprint] in the citation download. Why is this the case and how can I remove it?
OJS 3.4.0.6
Thanks,
Nason

Hi @Nason_Bimbe,
Regarding this:
Can you clarify what steps you are taking that causes you to see this? Perhaps you could supply a screenshot?
I wasn’t able to replicate this, but I wonder if it has something to do with the component selected.

Hi Roger,
Please have a look at https://ajic.wits.ac.za/article/view/13696 for example. It is the Harvard format that prepends it and this is on all articles in issues from 10 to 24 which were migrated. Other citation formats do not.
Thanks
Hi @Nason_Bimbe,
Are you able to determine which component was selected for your QuickSubmit submission? And, possibly, the component settings for the section - particularly the “Identify items in this section…” setting - it may be worth specifying research article, or another item that you feel best identifies the material? If the wrong section/component (such as one configured for preprints or with preprint-like metadata) was chosen during migration, this could result in the articles being tagged as preprints in the metadata.

Thanks Roger for the steer, I will check.
