Hello.
Can piwik (3.0.4) server update to matomo 3.5.1 (https://matomo.org)? or the plugin piwik will stop working?

See their announcement:
All our public HTTP APIs and Tracking SDKs will continue working normally. As you can imagine, there is a lot of work and complexity behind slowly updating all the SDKs and keeping backwards compatibility, so our renaming project will take a few weeks to complete.
For now no changes will be required; eventually you’ll have to change your Piwik URL (in the settings form) to Matomo. Later changes might be needed but for now there’s nothing concrete and they’ve committed to keeping compatibility.
