Persistent problem in PKP-PLN deposit

The Revista Amazonica. Ciencia y Tecnologia does not allow preservation with the PKP-PN plugin. This problem has been widely analyzed in different topics in this community and others. However, at https://revistas.uea.edu.ec/index.php/racyt we have not been able to solve the problem that does not preserve the published articles. Can you help us?
We have Open Journal Systems 3.3.0.10 installed. and the error we have is

Hi @AMAURY_PEREZ_MARTINE!

Before I start helping you, could you please:

  • Upgrade OJS to the latest stable release 3.3.0-17 (I’ve added a lot of fixes regarding the generation of deposits).
  • Upgrade the PKP PN plugin (I’ve released a new version recently which should address a bunch of problems)
  • Install the defaultTranslation plugin, this plugin will replace non translated texts (e.g. ##plugins.generic....##) by an alternative text in English, which is better than nothing.

Jonas Raoni

Hi @jonasraoni,
I appreciate your help and have followed your guidelines. The OJS and the PKP PN plugins were upgraded, and the “defaultTranslation plugins” was installed. After several days, the status of the first 25 records has not changed, and no other records have been added. Can you help me?

Best regards,
Amaury

Hi @AMAURY_PEREZ_MARTINE,

We’ve received 25 deposits on day 19/03. The process might take some days to complete, and there’s nothing we can do to accelerate it, I just can say that everything is looking fine.

Best,
Jonas Raoni

Hi!

I see all deposits are marked as completed, so I’m closing this issue.

Best,
Jonas Raoni

Hi @jonasraoni,
I appreciate your help.
Please do not close this issue.
I confirm that the preservation process of 25 documents has been completed. There would be 116 documents missing due to this same process, and a week has passed. Any action that must be taken to begin the preservation process of the rest of the documents?

Hi!

Just to confirm, are you saying that your journal has 141 (116 + 25) issues?

I’ve been giving maintenance to this service, and I haven’t seen this problem before, so I’m curious to solve it. Once you confirm, I’ll look for reasons.

Meanwhile, you can send us:

  • The log of errors from your server. As the plugin runs once per day, a log with the errors from yesterday should be enough.
  • The most recent log file created by the plugin, it should be on the folder {$files_dir}/scheduledTaskLogs (“files_dir” is defined on the file config.inc.php), and the filename should start with PKPPNDepositorTask-.

Jonas Raoni

Hi @jonasraoni,

Yes, I confirm it, there are 141 (116 + 25) issues.
The last log generated is from 03-18-2024. I am sending a screenshot of this log and 03-17-2024. If other logs are necessary, I have in my possession all those that have been generated.
I am attentive to your guidance and suggestions.

Best regards,
Amaury

Thanks! I’ll investigate soon and come back with the next steps
