Permission for section editors to send review requests

Hello,

We want to give our section editors permission to send review requests.
At the moment they can assign a reviewer, but they cannot send review requests.
Could someone be so kind to tell us how we (as editor or journal manager) can do this?

Hmmm… that is strange… somehow I cannot reproduce it – for me, in my local installation: if an editor assigns a section editor to an article, the section editor can assign a reviewer and then make the e-mail request…
What exactly is happening for you?

Hi Bozana,

Today I happily have solved the problem with sending e-mails by our section editor. It had nothing to do with permissions as I thought it was.
The real reason was that a wrong e-mailaddress was put in the user profile of the section editor. It did not correspond with the e-mailadddress at the server.
Now it works fine.
