PDF not working in Open Journal Systems 3.5.0.1

Upon clicking the PDF button, the article did not open in the browser; instead, the same page remained empty.

On the page, click the PDF button and load the empty page. In the top right corner, the download is working, but the same PDF is not visible.

From error received:
/plugins/generic/pdfJsViewer/pdf.js/build/pdf.mjs:1 Failed to load module script: Expected a JavaScript-or-Wasm module script but the server responded with a MIME type of “application/octet-stream”. Strict MIME type checking is enforced for module scripts per HTML spec.

I think this same issue was reported here: Article PDF visibility Issue in ojs 3.5.0.1 and 3.5.0.0

You may want to try what the user did in that thread.

found the solution for my problem, I added MIME type application/javascript with an mjs extension in cPanel.

-Or the equivalent for your hosting environment, if you’re not using cPanel.
