I’m about to publish an issue, but for some treason I can’t figure out, one of the author PDF files refuses to upload. Whenever I try to upload it as a galley file, I’m able to pick up the file through the browse button, but when I try to upload, the page loops to editor home
I’ve tried all manner of strategies, including re-saving the Word as a new PDF, going back over the various steps to make sure I haven’t left one out, etc, but to no avail. I’m tempted to delete the entire submission and put it in again on behalf of the author, but what a pain! This hasn’t happened to any of the other articles for this issue.
Any advice?
PS I did try to upload the Word file as a galley, and that works, but for me that’s a poor work-around.
