When a new user is about to register inside a journal’s page Orcid Profile Plugin works fine.
On the other hand, when the the new user press to register from the home page of a multi journal site, if the plugin is enabled in the site administrator it will cause the application to crash and return HTTP ERROR 500.

Do you mean, when you are inside the User profile.
As enabled in the site administrator:
Did you mean in the plugin section or did you enable it site-wide ?
Which version of the plugin you are having and which API are you using ?

I mean when a user is inside a journal and press the register button in order to register on that journal it works fine.
On the other hand when I am at the home page of a multi journal site, without entering any journal. When I want to register and the plugin is enabled on the administrator side I get this
When the plugin is disabled for administrator it works
In short is seems that if I am not inside a journal and the plugin is enabled, register returns an error.
