Describe the problem you would like to solve
In OMP 3.4.0-8, on the book home page of an edited volume, both the Volume Editors and all Chapter Authors are currently displayed together. This creates confusion for readers, as the book-level page should represent the editors responsible for the volume as a whole, not the individual chapter contributors.
Describe the solution you’d like
For edited volumes, the book home page should display only the Volume Editors (e.g., Construction Coordinators / Volume Editors). Chapter Authors should be suppressed from the book home page entirely. Chapter Authors should continue to appear only on their respective individual chapter pages, which is already functioning correctly. Ideally, this behaviour should be the default for the “Edited Volume” submission type in OMP.
Who is asking for this feature?
Press Managers, Press Editors, and Technical Administrators managing edited volumes in OMP — particularly those publishing multi-author academic volumes where editorial and authorship roles need to be clearly distinguished at the publication level.
Additional information
This issue is specific to OMP 3.4.0-8 and the edited volume format. The current display logic does not differentiate between book-level contributors (editors) and chapter-level contributors (authors) on the main book landing page, which does not reflect standard academic publishing conventions for edited volumes.
