OJS3 - How to not accept new submissions

Hi,

Is there some configuration for not accept new submissions in a journal?
This journal only accepts submissions in a specific period of the year.

Hi @Tarcisio_Pereira,

As far as I know there is no such setting. But what you can try, as a workaround, to set all sections as ’ Items can only be submitted by Editors and Section Editors.’ during the period not accepting submissions. This might work.

I was able to suspend submissions using what primozs suggested a message appears that the journal is not accepting submissions. I am running OJS 3.1.0.1
