OJS3.1 and PHP version

Hi all,

Since OJS3.1 require PHP >= 5.5.X we have to upgrade PHP on our servers. We are on CentOS 7.2 and the package does exists under Remi’s repo. Comparing PHP’modules from the old version, there seems to be missing, for PHP 5.6.32, the module shmop (http://php.net/manual/fr/book.shmop.php). This module is about shared memory: do you think there could be some issues in regard of this PHP5.6.32 missing module and smooth running of OJS3.1?

Hi Pierre,

I don’t think OJS or any of its dependencies use the shmop module so there should not be any issues.
