OJS3.0.2 submission notification email is empty after Upgrade from 2x

We just upgraded our OJS form 2.4.8-2 to 3.0.0.2
After the upgrade, when the author makes a submission, the email acknowledgement to the author is fine but the email to journal contact and editor is completely empty. What is the solution here?

Did you check your log server to verify some PHP error about those emails notification?

Yes. Nothing in the log indicating error relating to the issue.

If you check in the “Prepared Emails” section of your workflow settings, do you see the templates ?
Can you see if Submission Ack has a content text and it is correct?

We had to make the change in DB to fix this issue. All the template files were there and had content.

Could you describe what you made to fix? To serve as a help in forum to futures similar questions.

We added 2 entries into: email_templates_default, and email_templates_default_data. Those entries were not ported to those tables following the upgrade from 2x.
