I am currently using OJS 3.4.0.7. I am uploading an article using Quick Submit Plugin in the admin panel, in the midway, due to the lack of the data in the manuscript, I clicked on Cancel button. Since then, the backend of the admin panel shows “An unexpected error occurred, Please reload the page and Try again” The article numbers which earlier used to show up on Unassigned, Active, and Archived panel are now showing as “No submissions found”.
I am unable to use DOI panel as there are no articles appearing there. At the start of this error the pdf files used to be downloadable to the user, now when the user clicks download pdf file, it shows an error, "PDF.js v2.6.347 (build: 3be9c65f)
Message: Unexpected server response (500) while retrieving PDF "https://jopir.in/index.php/journals/article/download/303/275/628".". Apart from main domain jopir.in, I also have 3 subdomains which are built on wordpress since the beginning. But this error came suddenly and it stays the same even if I changed the hosting provider or migrated to other cloud hosting services. I am attaching the error logs, screenshots of the issues for your reference.
If I tried to upload an article, the upload progress bar shows complete, but the continue or submit tab greyed out, leaving the user unable to complete submission.
Previously before 20 days of this error, there is some bug which I have also seen in many journals basing on OJS in the internet where a Issue is automatically created with different labels like “Lanciau POC Vol 99, Issue 98”, I used to delete these issues but they re-appeared after 5 to 7 days automatically on their own, I changed the database password even then the issue remained the same. Later this error is appearing. I dont know if this has something to do with my error or is that a virus that is affecting my database. Please help
