OJS sending four same emails after submission

Dear admin,

I want help to set up notifications of submission properly. I am receiving 4 same emails on each submission on my journals.

Have you checked your Profile → Notifications settings. You can customize the notifications you receive? Also, which version of OJS are you using (e.g. 3.3.0-14)? Please specify this in your posts here on the forum as it assists with those who are helping troubleshooting.

It’s hard to say without seeing the contents of the email messages, but what I suspect might be happening here is that you have multiple roles within your OJS instance and as a result are receiving multiple messages for these activities taking place. I would try unselecting the top two to see if that makes a difference. The downside of course being that you don’t get notifications in your email (if that’s even what you want though).
