We work in a French university library and we have a few questions about including OJS into modules that allow the conversion of .doc files into xml JATS, then into html and PDF.
In this forum thread, we saw there was a plugin attempt, like the one inspired by PKP’s Open Type Setting: GitHub - kaschioudi/ojs3-markup: markup plugin for OJS3
Unfortunately these projects don’t seem to have been updated for a while. Could you tell us if such a project can be followed through and if we can have the last update from OJS? Or are there too many technical complications to include it in OJS?
